Sylvie Blum The Model

Before I picked up my camera starting a career as a photographer in 2000, I worked over 16 years as a model with many international known photographers. I was married to my mentor the photographer and artist Guenter Blum, he passed away in 1997. He taught me everything about creating pictures and how to see things. I was fascinated by this man and his way to work. We both have been the perfect team. I was his wife, model and muse and I loved it very much. Our entire life was filled with creating pictures, getting inspired, building backgrounds, crafting crazy costumes, developing in the darkroom and every day I played a different role being a "Femme Fatale".

I would never have missed this amazing time and I would never had dreamed that one day it should end ...
